“Gardening for Good: A Gardener’s Toolkit for Ecological Horticulture” 

 by Jessica Schuler

Bio:

Jessica A. Schuler is the Program Coordinator of Natural Resources for the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Conservation, where she serves as Director of Lasdon Public Gardens and contributes to the conservation team managing 18,000 acres of county parkland. A horticulturist and ecological restoration practitioner, she is dedicated to conserving biodiversity and advancing sustainable land management.

Before joining Westchester County, Jessica was Director of the Thain Family Forest at The New York Botanical Garden. She holds a B.S. in Plant Science with Distinction in Research from Cornell University and is both an ISA Certified Arborist and a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner with the Society for Ecological Restoration.
