Gedney Park 9/11 Bulb Planting - Volunteers Needed 

Tuesday, November 12 - 1030am


Please come to Gedney Park next Tuesday, November 12 at 1030am and plant some spring bulbs at the 9/11 Memorial.  We will be planting in several new spaces and refreshing those areas we planted last November. Our focus this year is to plant early bloomers and continue with our yellow, purple and white color scheme. Melanie has selected snowdrops, purple scilla, muscari and also mini daffodils jetfire and hillstar. These will all naturalize over time, so will fill in on their own. They all have minimal foilage and will not block the pathways.   Please bring your own tools; including gloves, a trowel and lots of enthusiasm.  Temperatures are expected to be  in the low 60's with sun.
