September General Meeting/ Falling for Fall-Blooming Perennials

Kick-off the fall planting season and join us for light refreshments, post-summer reunion, and garden talk!  Melanie Smith Klein, one of our resident experts, will discuss how late season perennials can bring fresh blooms to your autumn garden and support migrating butterflies and birds as well as native bees preparing for hibernation.

Mix and Match -  Take home your choice of two great fall-blooming native plant plugs introduced from Mt. Cuba Center - ‘Purple Dome’ aster and ‘Solar Cascade’ goldenrod - to add to your garden this Fall. PLEASE REGISTER so there are enough plants for everyone. Fall Bulb Sale will be online soon. The bulbs have been ordered and we’re offering a great selection of indoor  winter blooming amaryllis and spring blooming daffodils, allium, Leucojum, and chino docs! Learn more at this meeting!
