Flower Couture: Curating Joy and Interest in your Flower Garden

We know that the most beautiful flower gardens begin with ideas and inspiration, but the truth is that at the end of the day many of us just default to whatever is available at the local garden center. We may try to grow poppies or sweet peas, only to be discouraged. In this talk we will touch upon some popular tried and true common flower choices, as well as spend time exploring some more unique flower options.

If you dream of having more interesting flowers in your garden and home this summer, but never had luck raising your own mignonette, primroses or poppies from seed, you will learn how to do so here. Join plantsman, designer and author Matt Mattus, author of the book, Mastering the Art of Flower Gardening as he shares with us his most favorite, and often uncommon flower choices. He will share tips and tricks on how to grow and where to buy these less common flowers, so get your notebook ready!
