Join the Rye Garden Club to learn from WCC Native Plant Center experts and receive hands-on help to order native plant material from the Center’s Annual Native Plant Sale for delivery this spring.

Native plants are a wonderful addition to any garden. Not only have they developed specific adaptations that allow them to thrive in their indigenous region, but they have also co-evolved with pollinators to provide crucial food and habitat for them and other wildlife. Using native plants is a vital step in supporting our pollinators and adopting eco-friendly gardening practices.

It can often be difficult for gardeners to find native plant material in our area. The Rye Garden Club Conservation Committee presents this event to increase the community’s access to native plant material and allow local gardeners to participate in the important, national native plant movement.

After Native Plant Center educators make their presentation, there will be time for attendees to speak with them directly and make plant orders before the mid-February deadline.
